Lubrication Engineers (LE), together with experienced trainer Paul Dufresne, will offer an online Xpert Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT I)/Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA I) class June 8-10 with an optional online certification exam.

Why Training?

Lubrication management has become more and more advanced, with enhanced products, smart tools and sophisticated technology available for plants and facilities across the globe. However, equipment failure and downtime due to lubrication issues continue to be a factor.

“While technology plays a crucial role, it can only be effective if the individuals using it are properly trained,” Lubrication Engineers South Africa Managing Director Colin Ford said. “Studies estimate that roughly 75% of bearing failures are lubrication-related. These are not equipment problems. They are training problems.”

About the Class

In LE’s Xpert MLT I/MLA I course, managers, engineers and technicians will learn the impact that best-in-class lubrication practices can have on machine health and reliability. They will see why machine lubrication activities should be moved from modest and reactive to thorough, accurate and proactive.

The course content includes lubrication fundamentals, lubrication of key equipment components, contamination control and lubricant storage and handling, oil analysis for enhanced equipment reliability, application of lubricants and lubricant programs.

After the three-day class, qualified participants can become certified as MLT I and MLA I.

3-Day Training – All Online
