Platinum Tooling Technologies (Prospect Heights, IL), the importer of Heimatec live tools and angle heads, showcased a variety of products designed to enhance the capabilities of Swiss CNC lathes at IMTS 2026 in Chicago. In addition to the live tooling and angle heads, Platinum displayed speed multipliers in gear ratios of 1:2, 1:3 and 1:4 with max speeds to 48,000 rpm.
The products can be used in medical device manufacturing, high-precision small-part machining and high-volume Swiss CNC machine shop environments.
