AI fragrance company Osmo has opened a 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The facility, where Osmo will expand the commercialization of its proprietary AI-powered olfaction technology, Olfactory Intelligence, will also serve as its headquarters.
The facility enables the entire product lifecycle from custom fragrance formulation through manufacturing, bottling and packaging, allowing clients to scale quickly and with flexible MOQs from initial concept to market.
“We’re democratizing access and unlocking a new world of fragrance for brands of all sizes, and this facility will expand that potential exponentially,” said Osmo CEO Alex Wiltschko in a statement. “We chose New Jersey because of its long history of manufacturing excellence. As we grow, we look forward to demonstrating The Garden State’s potential to become the modern epicenter for AI-driven industrial growth and workforce development.”
This opening reflects Osmo’s expansion into large-scale manufacturing and its commitment to creating high-skilled jobs in Elizabeth. The site integrates cutting-edge robotics, fragrance development, and artificial intelligence to support scent design and production across multiple industries, and Osmo remains committed to working with local partners along the way. Osmo works with domestic manufacturing specialists for filling, secondary packaging, and logistics, contributing to business activity within the region.
“This facility allows us to work with global CPG players and emerging brands alike,” said Mateusz Brzuchacz, Chief Manufacturing Officer at Osmo. “For enterprise partners, we can reduce fragrance costs, accelerate time-to-market, and explore proprietary molecules for differentiation. For emerging brands, we bring accessible price points and expert guidance from world-class perfumers. Our low minimum order quantities and vertically integrated approach allows any brand to bring a big vision to market with maximum efficiency. Olfactory Intelligence enables custom fragrance formulation for anyone, and the facility gives us the space to execute.”
