Easy-To-Install Collets

Royal Products (Hauppauge, NY) has developed the Quick-Grip CNC Collet Chucks for workholding. When installing the collet, a special installation tool compresses the rear end of the collet so it can be inserted, and upon expansion, the collet locks into place via a hook-and-groove arrangement.

In addition, the collets have a 1/16” gripping range due vulcanized rubber spaces that separate one segment from the next. The Quick-Grip Collet Chucks have a full collapse range of 0.062”, and they tend to be shorter than their spring-type counterparts.
