The small container allows users to test the boron nitride coating on various substrates at temperatures up to 1,000°C in air, and over 1,800°C in inert/nitrogen atmospheres. According to the company, boron nitride is chemically inert and provides non-stick, release, and barrier-layers to reactive materials.
