Redesigned Pressing Tools

Stanley VIRAX (Conyers, GA) has redesigned its industrial pressing tool — the P22+ — to make it easier to use and maintain. In addition, it uses industry-standard press fittings to make solder-less joints in copper, stainless steel, and PEX tubing. The new version has lost two pounds in weight compared to its predecessor, while a redesigned housing offers an ergonomic pistol grip, a sleek profile, and enhanced resistance to drops and shocks.

Other features include:

  • Improved electronic control with a 14.4-volt lithium ion battery that can be recharged in 30 minutes.
  • The need to calibrate only after 30,000 cycles, which is an extra 10,000 over the current-generation P20+.
  • Jaw stabilization technology, which ensures accurate motion.
