A new series of right angle helical gear drives from Stock Drive Products (New Hyde Park, NY) feature base or panel mount design. These lightweight units are made with a fiberglass reinforced nylon housing, hardened steel helical gears, steel shafts, and nonmetallic bearings. They are identified as the A 2Z11 Series and feature both single and double output shaft configurations. They are suited for most industry applications, such as printing, packaging, and textile machinery. Gear ratios stocked are 1:1 and 2:1. The maximum rotations per minute is 1800 and their maximum continuous horsepower is 1/8. Special options for shafts, material, and ratios are available on special order.
