The FLIR E8 is a compact, rugged, and extremely easy-to-use IR camera that provides a new dimension to thermal inspections and troubleshooting. Creating images out of the heat it detects instead of light, the E8 helps technicians see where otherwise invisible hotspots and other problematic overheating may be occurring, facilitating speedier preventative repairs. Along with showing where trouble may be developing, the cameras can also measure the temperatures of the heat issue to further quantify the problem.
