Fairlane Sized

Fairlane Products (Fraser, MI) announces a variety of materials to its lineup of industrial rollers. Black neoprene, urethane and white nitrile are available. Specifically:

  • The black neoprene is flame and weather resistant. It resists gasoline, oil, ozone and high temperatures. Its disadvantages are it can be affected by phosphates, hydraulic fluids and aromatic hydrocarbons. It has a maximum service temperature of 200° F continuous and 250° F intermittent. Its minimum service temperature is -40° F.
  • Urethane (chemical name Di-Isocyante polyurethane) provides the highest abrasion resistance, strength and load bearing, It also provides high elongation and hardness while also being resistant to ozone and oxygen. On the downside, it can be affected by ether, esters, acid, aromatics and alkalis.  It also has a maximum service temperature of 200° F continuous and 250° F intermittent with a minimum service temperature of -65° F.
  • White Nitrile (chemical name Nitrile Butadiene) is resistant to gasoline, oil, alcohol and abrasion. It can be affected by degreaser solvents. It has a maximum service temperature of 175° continuous and 225° intermittent. Its minimum service temperature is -60°.

The lineup of Fairlane Products rollers include shaft drive rollers in solid, finned and DuraSoft styles with diameters from 1.50 in. to 4.00 in. All shaft styles feature a roller permanently bonded to a steel hub which locks onto a shaft with two locking set screws.
