Foodservice supplier Hoffmaster announced a $65 million expansion at its manufacturing facility in Clintonville, Wisconsin. The factory makes several products, including everyday and seasonal plates, napkins and table covers.
The project includes the acquisition of an adjacent parcel and constructing an 86,000-square-foot expansion. Hoffmaster anticipates the development will create more than 100 jobs and nearly double the location's output.
The company expects to complete construction in spring 2027.
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) will support the project by authorizing up to $1 million in performance-based state income tax credits over the next three years. The actual amount of tax credits the company will receive is contingent upon the number of jobs created and the amount of capital investment during the period.
Hoffmaster's long-time landlord Gladstone Commercial Corporation will fund the land acquisition and building expansion as part of a long-term lease extension. The company said it will collaborate with multiple partners throughout the project, including construction company Keller, Inc., the City of Clintonville and the WEDC.
Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Hoffmaster supports the foodservice, consumer goods and baking industries.
