Golf equipment manufacturer TaylorMade Golf Co. announced plans to expand its operations in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. The company expects the project to create up to 50 jobs by the end of 2031.
TaylorMade moved its warehouse and distribution operations to Evansville in 2017. The new multimillion-dollar investment will occupy and equip a new built-to-suit warehouse facility, which will increase the company’s footprint and enable it to move operations under one roof.
The expansion supports fulfillment for TaylorMade and its Sun Day Red performance apparel and footwear brand. The company added that the development would allow it to ship millions of products annually and reach more than 80% of its customers within three days.
TaylorMade expects to move into the new facility in early 2027 and begin hiring later that year.
Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Carlsbad, California, TaylorMade manufactures golf equipment, including clubs, golf balls, accessories and apparel. Sun Day Red is a golf-inspired performance lifestyle brand created in partnership with 15-time major championship winner Tiger Woods.
Based on the company’s investment plans, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation committed an investment of up to $555,000 in incentive-based tax credits. Vanderburgh County will offer additional incentives to support the project.
