Private equity firm Arcline Investment Management said it has agreed to sell its portfolio company Medical Manufacturing Technologies (MMT) to Perimeter Solutions, one of the largest producers of firefighting chemicals, for $685 million.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, MMT is a provider of medical device manufacturing solutions. The company supports more than 1,000 customers — including many medical technology OEMs and CDMOs — in the production of interventional medical devices such as catheters, guidewires, stents, microcoils and related components. MMT has more than 350 employees and 14 production facilities.

Since acquiring MMT in 2020, Arcline said it has grown the company's revenue and EBITDA, and completed 13 acquisitions that broadened MMT's capabilities, including automation solutions and specialty manufacturing services that simplify and optimize complex production processes.

Perimeter Solutions operates as the largest global producer of firefighting chemicals. It said it is a key supplier of wildland firefighting products and services to the USDA Forest Service, CalFire and other fire management agencies. It produces brands including PHOS-CHEK and FIRE-TROL retardant, foam and gel products; AUXQUIMIA firefighting foam products; and SOLBERG fluorine-free foam products.

Perimeter said it's also one of the only producers of phosphorous pentasulfide (P2S5) with manufacturing in both the U.S. and Western Europe.

The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
