Wilcoxon (Germantown, MD) had added three new accelerometers with M12 connectors to its product line of vibration sensors and sensor networks. The M12 connector is an established protocol throughout the world, and several M12-compatible assemblies are now available. The accelerometers are particularly useful with monitoring the healthy of motors, pumps, fans, compressors, and gearboxes, among others. The new line comes in a variety of models, combining top- or side-exit sensors with a +5% or +10% sensitivity tolerance.
