Master Bond (Hackensack, NJ) has developed the EP46HT-1, which extends the limits of epoxy adhesive/sealant formulations, according to the company. It can operate in temperatures from -100°F to 550°F and intermittent exposures up to 600°F. In addition, the epoxy has been designed to withstand repeated thermal cycling. The compound is 100 percent reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents, offering excellent physical strength, dimensional ability, and chemical resistance. EP46HT-1 offers good adhesion to metals, glass, vulcanized rubbers, and most plastics.
