The Model 590 Micro-Pneumatic Cutter from Xuron (Saco, ME) is an air-operated flush cutter that can be supplied with three different cutting heads: standard, standard with a lead retainer, and low-profile for reaching into densely populated PC boards. The tapered rectangular shape fits comfortably in small or large hands for the repetitive cutting of up to 16 AWG wire. There is no recoil or manual squeezing, and noise is kept below 60 dB.
