Snap-On Industrial (Kenosha, WI) has expanded its lines of heavy-duty striking wrenches and 1” Drive Flank Drive impact sockets. The striking wrenches range from 13/16” to 4-5/8” and feature the company’s Flank Drive design. A dense, rectangular beam helps maintain rigidity and transfers more power. A 12-point box design and more compact head allows the striking wrench to be used in small spaces. The size offering for Snap-On’s 1” Drive Flank Drive sockets have expanded from 3/4” to 5-3/4”, and the SAE Deep 6 sockets now come in 7/8” to 5-3/4”. The Flank Drive design provides 20 percent more power than conventional hex designs without slipping or rounding.
