Weidmuller (Richmond, VA) introduces the fourth generation Stripax and Stripax 16 tools for cutting and stripping flexible and solid conductors with PVC insulation, multi-conductors, and thin ribbon cables. The fourth generation Stripax incorporates numerous design changes and ergonomic practical improvements. The design changes increase the tool’s capability for stripping a variety of PVC insulated wire up to 28-8 AWG. The Stripax 16 is ideal for processing larger gauge wire from 10-6 AWG. In addition, the tools remain small and light, at 7.5” long and 0.38 lbs. Other improvements prevent accidental damage to multi-conductors.
