The Henkel Corporation (Rocky Hill, CT) has introduced their newest anaerobic threadlocker: Loctite QuickTape 249 Threadlocker Tape. The medium-strength tape provides the same performance of liquid threadlockers yet can be carried in a pocket or toolbox, and can be pre-applied to fasteners for future assembly. Other features include:
- Compatibility with blind hole applications, along with regular bolts and fasteners.
- Removability with hand tools.
- A fixing time of 30 minutes with full cure achieved in 24 hours.
- An operating temperature range of -65° to 300°F.
