Barco (Chicago, IL) has introduced the E-Series air union for air-related manufacturing applications. The E-2 series can handle difficult industrial environments that other rotary units might not, with a nitrotec surface treatment, which increases the wear- and corrosion-resistance. The E-2 design features a lower balance ratio and a ceramic seal to ensure a long life. In additional, the seals are user-replaceable with an inexpensive repair kit. The maximum speed is 3,500 RPM and the maximum air pressure is 150 PSIG.
