Cold Jet, LLC (Cincinnati, OH) has announced the new Aero V, a compact, single-hose electric dry ice blast cleaning system. The Aero V uses a compact variable feed system with an aerodynamic rotor to ensure high reliability and smooth pulse-free dry ice blasting performance. The new model also features an aluminum frame and a 360° turning radius for easy maneuverability in tight areas. Features include:
- A stainless steel isolated hopper with a vibrator to keep pellet fluidized and ensure a reliable feed.
- Easy-off panels for quick inspection and maintenance of internal components.
- A quick-change nozzle connection that fits all Cold Jet AeroTech nozzles.
The Aero V also uses a high-density dry ice made from reclaimed carbon dioxide as the cleaning medium, and therefore provides a non-abrasive, non-conductive, chemical-free, and water-free process that won’t damage surfaces or equipment.
