Greenlee (Rockford, IL) has updated its 6810 Cable Feeder to be more effective when used with low friction cables, such as the Southwire SIMpull. As a result, the feeder now comes equipped with new tires that are capable of operating pressures up to 50 psi, compared to 22 psi for the previous version. The traction force when using the new tires with low friction cables is greater than when using the old tires with standard cables. Customers can upgrade to the new tires with an upgrade package.
