The WP-50 and WP-125 Micro-Tig torches from Weldcraft (Appleton, WI) features lightweight, short torch bodies that allow pen-like welding control in the most complex applications, according to the company. The WP-50 air-cooled TIG torch provides 50 amps DC of welding capacity, and its 80-degree torch head is only 5/8” long and 3/8” in diameter. In addition, the entire torch is only 8-1/2” long. The WP-125 torch is available in three models, the largest of which features a 5-inch torch body. They are all capable of welding at 125 amps DC, and use a low-profile nozzle with optional 45-, 90- and 180-degree heads that fit in openings as small as 5/8” in diameter.
