Thermal Arc (St. Louis, MO) has introduced its most versatile arc welding equipment: the Thermal Arc Portable DC Welder Series. The series, which includes the 95S, 161S, and 201S, offers 95 to 200 Amps of welding power. The 161S Portable DC Welder is designed for light industrial projects, with 110 Amps on standard 115-volt circuits for stick and TIG welding. An optimized hot start and arc-force circuits can help some welding electrodes from sticking. In addition, the 201TS Portable DC Welder is a heavy-duty unit is designed to provide increased control for demanding DC stick and TIG welding jobs. It can output 200 Amps when used on 230-volt circuits.
