Parker Hannifin Corporation (Huntsville, AL) has created a package of tube fabrication tools for small bore tube assembly. The new package provides all the equipment necessary to successfully install tube fittings — both CPI and A-LOK — in various system applications, and includes benders, a cutter, a deburrer tool, a sawing vise with an integral hacksaw guide, and an inspection gauge. According to the company, the system is meant to be a “one-stop-shop” for the proper make-up and installation of tubing and fittings. Other components of the package include:
- Heavy-duty PTB tube benders, with a unique indexing handle for 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2” tubing sizes.
- A PTC tube cutter for 1/8” to 1-1/8” stainless steel, soft copper, and aluminum tubing.
- A deburring tool for 3/16” to 1-1/2” O.D. tubing.
- An inspection gauge, which is available in three sizes: 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2”.
