The OILMISER Vapor Guard from JLM Systems Limited (Richmond, BC, Canada) is designed for lubricated gearboxes and bearing housings that are venting to atmosphere. The guard traps the migrating oil mist from a turbine gearbox before it escapes, before it fouls the air breather, and before it contaminates the workspace. It comes in two configurations: the OVG-6200 standard length version, and the OVG 6220 double length version. In addition, they have no moving parts, no consumables, and require no maintenance beyond a visual inspection.
