A new plastic welding kit is now available from Master Appliance Corp. (Racine, WI). The new Master Proheat kit, model PH-1400WK is built around the Master Proheat LCD model PH-1400 dial-in electronic heat gun. The gun offers ten degree increment temperature control from 130°F to 1,000°F and control of airflow from 4 to 16 CFM. The welding system has a magnetic key lock-in feature to “lock-in” temperature and airflow for each welding application and an electronic control system to prevent over heating. Each kit comes with an instruction manual and attachments for speed, pendulum, and tack welding and a welding rod starter assortment for PVC, PP, ABS, HDPE, and LDPE.
