LPS Monitor Senses Water Leaks

The new LPS monitor from CAT PUMPS (Minneapolis, MN) is designed to sense water leakage past the low pressure seals and alert maintenance personnel that the pump seals need replacing before pump drive components are at risk. Models are available for PLC or PC interfaces, and an indicator light model is are available when a PC or PLC interface is not used.

The new LPS monitor from CAT PUMPS (Minneapolis, MN) is designed to sense water leakage past the low pressure seals and alert maintenance personnel that the pump seals need replacing before pump drive components are at risk. Models are available for PLC or PC interfaces, and an indicator light model is are available when a PC or PLC interface is not used. A float switch is configurable in normally closed or normally open positions and the switch can be mounted on either side of the leak pan. The new monitor can be used on new systems or be retrofitted for use on existing systems.
