SPIROL International Corporation (Danielson, CT) has expanded their disc spring product line to include larger sizes per DIN 2093 Group 2 (now available up to 250 millimeters in diameter) and a full range of stainless steel discs. SPIROL disc springs’ performance characteristics are predictable and the minimum life cycle can be calculated. They provide high levels of force within a small space and are ideal in critical applications such as safety valves and supports for industrial pipe systems. Disc springs can be statically loaded either continuously or intermittently, or dynamically subjected to continuous load cycling.
