Downstream air is bled off before the coupler will release the plug (connector), so there’s no chance of creating a dangerous whip effect that could damage surrounding equipment or injure nearby personnel. The nickel plated steel body will provide lasting durability in most rugged environments. This coupler is designed to accept the five most commonly used ¼ inch body size interchanges in North America: industrial (Mil-C4109), Aro, Automotive (Tru-flate), Euro, and Lincoln. Users won’t have to carry around multiple couplers or plugs and waste time trying to match existing connections.
