SOR®, Inc. (Lenexa, KS) has introduced a new level switch, totally compatible with low power control systems. As today’s industries continually move toward saving money and energy through reducing power consumption, hard contact switches designed for higher power may not respond to signals routed through the DCS or similar systems. That’s why SOR has enhanced their existing 1500 series level switches, all of which are designed to support green initiatives. The new, low power switch design from SOR is available to order immediately. Unlike normal switch contacts that are manufactured with common steel, this new low power switch features contact points made from a rare metal. This metal has extremely low electrical resistance and is unyielding to corrosion.
