The accelerometer houses a 500 mV/g sensing element with a 5 percent sensitivity tolerance coupled with a ± 3 decibel frequency response range that covers 0.2 to 14,000 Hertz. The 786-500- D2 is ideal for applications where both ends of the machine spectrum need to be monitored simultaneously. Class I Div 2/Zone 2 certification means the 786-500-D2 can be used in higher risk areas, those defined as areas where hazardous gas, vapors, or mist would only be present under abnormal conditions.
