These hose connections are considerably more lightweight than their brass sleeve and ball valve and fitting counterparts. The couplers are made of high-grade UV resistant polypropylene, non-swell Viton O-rings, and stainless steel springs. The couplers are also capable of gamma sterilization. The design permits for the highest flow rate of comparable couplers. The pressure range is 0-100 psi, with a temperature range of freezing to 160 degrees F. Disconnecting is hassle free with the ergonomic push-in button, says the company.
