Phos Window announced a $21 million expansion at its manufacturing facility in Fort Payne, Alabama. The company expects the project to scale its vinyl window production and add over 100 jobs.

The Fort Payne City Council approved incentives to support the project, which will more than triple the size of the company’s factory. Once complete, the operation will span nearly 140,000 square feet and employ between 150 and 200 workers.

Phos Window said construction would begin soon, with hiring to follow in phases as production capacity comes online.

The expansion supports Northeast Alabama’s emerging construction manufacturing cluster. The region currently houses producers of structural steel, manufactured block and corrugated pipe.
