Taste Test: 4505 Butcher’s Snack Sticks

The company now has 20 employees and all products are made solely in the U.S.

In 2009, Chef & Butcher Ryan Farr founded 4505 Meats in his kitchen with a focus on whole animal butchery to make simple-ingredient, high-protein foods.

The company now has 20 employees and all 4505 products are made solely in the U.S.

In July, Farr introduced 4505 Butcher's Snacks, sausage sticks made with humanely raised pork.

The company sent Food Manufacturing three new flavors to taste test: Original Recipe, Cheddar & Bacon and Red Hot.

Original Recipe is inspired by the bratwurst.

So, if there is ever a panel to taste test it, this is it.

Butcher's Snacks are sourced from humanely-raised, vegetarian-fed pork from U.S. family farms.

Farr knows a bit about sausage making. He literally wrote the book on it. It's called, "The Definitive Guide to Sausage Making."
