Foam Fabricators Increases Cooler Production for Vaccine Distribution

In response to surging demand, the packaging manufacturer ramped up production and increased headcount by 20%.

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Foam Fabricators designs and manufactures custom protective packaging solutions, including coolers. The company is currently making the coolers that will be used nationwide to distribute COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna.

The coolers are existing products that are being repurposed for the COVID vaccine.

In response to the surging demand, the company has ramped up production and increased headcount by 20%.

In July, the company hatched a plan to increase production, which went into effect in mid-October. The plan includes increased production and headcount at 12 North American manufacturing facilities.

This isn’t the company’s first time assisting the nationwide distribution of vaccines. In 2009, the company helped distribute the vaccine used to fight the H1N1 virus outbreak.
