Digi International (Hopkins, MN) introduced the Digi TX65 router family for transportation fleets and distributed operations. The Digi TX65 is designed for consolidated 5G networking, Wi-Fi 7 and rugged multi-carrier redundancy and can be used in transit buses, traffic management systems, light rail, public safety command vehicles and field service operations.

The Digi TX65 router family provides a hardware-consolidated secure wireless routing and positioning solution for mission-critical mobile and heavy-duty industrial environments using the Qualcomm SDX72 3GPP Release 17 standard.

Features:

  • Built on Qualcomm SDX72 platform to deliver advanced 5G eMBB performance with carrier aggregation, HPUE uplink power for extended rural coverage and tri-band dual concurrent Wi-Fi 7
  • Utilizes Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) technology to keep both SIM lines active simultaneously, completely eliminating cold standby switching delays during carrier dropouts
  • IP64-rated enclosure that reliably withstands extreme operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to +75°C in demanding mobile environments
  • Merges high-speed routing, integrated switching, GNSS tracking and serial gateways into single device to eliminate hardware sprawl and cut bill-of-materials costs
  • Available in three custom variations ranging from single 5G modem variant up to flagship TX65-5B5A-2N, which features dual 5G modems for maximum network redundancy
