Lee Rieth, Ph.D. is Director of Research & Development at ITW Pro Brands, where he leads innovation, product development, and technical strategy for professional-grade chemical solutions serving the industrial, commercial, and automotive markets.
With more than 20 years of experience in the chemical industry, Lee has led the development and commercialization of innovative technologies spanning plastic additives, specialty solvents, cleaners, lubricants, and disinfectants. His expertise includes new product development, manufacturing scale-up, process optimization, phase-gate project management, and quality systems. Throughout his career, Lee has built and led high-performing technical teams while bringing innovative products from concept to commercialization.
An inventor on 13 U.S. patents, Lee is passionate about developing technologies that solve real-world challenges for professionals across a wide range of industries. He earned a Ph.D. in Organic/Polymer Chemistry from Cornell University, where he also completed his undergraduate studies.
