ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Authorities say an American Airlines worker is dead after an industrial accident at the Albuquerque International Sunport. Albuquerque police and airport authorities say they're investigating Thursday's accident, but didn't immediately release any details.
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — The U.S. Department of Justice says Caterpillar Inc. has agreed to pay $2.55 million to settle allegations it violated the U.S. Clean Air Act. The department said Thursday that it believes the Peoria, Ill.-based heavy equipment-maker shipped more than 590,000 engines that lacked proper emissions controls.
