Chrysler To Fix Stalling Problem In Midsize Cars

Owners of Chrysler 200s and Dodge Avengers from the 2011 model year are getting notices from the company. The cars have 3.6-Liter V-6 engines. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began investigating in June after getting complaints from drivers.
Chrysler To Recall 919K SUVs To Fix Air Bags

The recall affects Grand Cherokees from the 2002 through 2004 model years and Libertys from model years 2002 and 2003, according to documents posted Friday on the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website.

Aircraft Repair Company Exec Pleads Guilty

The U.S. attorney in Sacramento said Tuesday that Jerry Edward Kuwata, of Granite Bay, admitted to using uncertified parts and falsely certifying that the Federal Aviation Administration approved their use in aircraft repair.
BMW Recalls Cars Over Transmission Problem

Workers at the U.S. Ink plant in East Rutherford were mixing newspaper ink in a vat when a carbon compound apparently ignited around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, sparking an explosion and a fire in the building's ductwork.
