3M (St. Paul, MN) introduces its latest technology in structural adhesives, the 3M Scotch-Weld Toughened Epoxy Adhesive DP920, designed for metal-to-mtal bonding in a variety of applications. DP920 cuts through surface oil on surfaces, reducing the amount of cleaning necessary before application of adhesive, and cures at room temperature.
Caplugs (Buffalo, NY) introduces the new VFT series of vinyl pull-caps, with a textured finish at the top to enable better gripping to save time and effort in the field. According to the company, hands, gloves, and even automated machinery can grip the VFT series up to 80 percent better than traditional caps.
The RIDGID (Elyria, OH) Press Snap soil pipe cutter expands the original RIDGID line of press tools by providing an easy way to cut cast iron soil pipe. The Press Snap eliminates the need for manual ratcheting when connected to a RIDGID press tool, and there is no need to score the pipe beforehand.
DeWalt (Hampstead, MD) is launching a line of compact lithium ion power tools, including a drill driver (DCD760KL) , impact driver (DCF826KL) , hammerdrill (DCD775KL) , and a right angle drill (DCD690KL) . Two combo kits, also available with the new line, offer packaged batteries and chargers.
SafeRack (Sumter, SC) has announced its redesigned SafeRack G4 Gangway. The G4 uses metal-stamping technology to create a stronger gangway that is at the same time lighter and smoother to operate. The G4’s parts, most often aluminum, are stamped out in a tool-and-die process and then formed by bending the metal into the required shape, eliminating the need for welding.
La-Man (Port Orange, FL) has developed a series of Extractor/Dyers that are designed as a point-of-use filter to efficiently remove moisture and contaminants from compressed air systems. The Extractor/Dyer is a two-stage filter designed to operate most effectively within twenty-five feet of the point of use.

According to the company, the Condor XL can cover up to 100,000 square feet of open floor space on a single tank of solution, increasing productivity and reducing cleaning costs.
Martin Tool & Forge (Fort Worth, TX) has three styles of drop-forged, heavy-duty striking wrenches, including the offset 12 point, straight-pattern 12 point, and “roughneck” straight-pattern six point. Cotronics (Brooklyn, NY) has engineered the Thermeez 7030, a ceramic-based sealer that is ideal in high-temperature (up to 1,800°F) applications, notably exhaust systems, diesel engines, gas turbines, and heating plants. Unlike epoxy-based adhesives, the 7030 sealer provides high expansion even in the warmest environments.
Royal Adhesives and Sealants LLC (South Bend, IN) announces the launch of its new line of Silaprene LVOC (low-volatile organic content) contact adhesives and cements. These new adhesives and cements are EPA-compliant and contain less than 250 grams per liter of VOCs compared to over 600 grams per liter of VOCs in traditional solvent-based contact adhesives and cements.

The black epoxy powder coating offers an improved appearance over a basic mill finish, and is impact, abrasion, and chemical resistant. Dynabrade, Inc. (Clarence, NY) introduces a new series of air-powered vacuum disc sanders. The new tool is effective at removing coatings while capturing contaminants through the vacuum. The sanders are available in 2, 3, 5, and 7” diameters, and the vacuum shroud diverts dust and debris to the vacuum source.
