Omega Engineering (Stamford, CT) has introduced their wrap-around tote tank heaters to fit any tote tank from 1 to 1.2 meters (40 to 48”) square. The series comes in heights of 36, 42, or 48” and is made of flexible silicone-impregnated clothing facing and liner.

Hörmann Flexon (Leetsale, PA) has developed the Speed-Guardian 2400 FV full-view door. The door has a total panel thickness of 1.25” with 6.25” high window slats the entire height of the door panel. The Speed-Guardian 2400 FV also features a quick-opening mechanism, up to 80” per second; and a compact, self-monitoring direct-drive motor.

After 80 years of New Orleans’ humid summers, a distribution facility for Lafarge, one of the largest cement producers in the United States and Canada, was literally crumbling.
