Grinding In Hard-to-Reach Places

Fri, 01/14/2011 - 9:55am

The Mini-Dynafile II from Dynabrade (Clarence, NY) is a lightweight, air-powered belt machine for grinding, blending, and deburring in normally inaccessible areas. The Mini-Dynafile II utilizes 1/8” - 1/2” wide by 12” long abrasive belts running at 25,000 RPM. The multi-positioning head pivots 180°, which makes it ideal for grinding into hard-to-reach areas. Other features of the belt machine include:

  • A composite housing that reduces vibration and cold air transmission to the operator’s hands.
  • The availability of eight different contact arms for a variety of applications.
  • The ability to use the tool for finishing and deburring within narrow openings, blending stainless steel, and grinding right angle welds.
