Signage Goes Sustainable

Thu, 12/02/2010 - 7:40am

Brady (Milwaukee, WI) has introduced a line of three new sustainable materials for safety and traffic signage. The Sustainable Signs can help companies invest in ”green“ programs, according to Brady, by using materials that are as durable as other products. The B-586 Paper Signs are made of 10 percent post-consumer waste and are 100 percent recyclable. At 3.5mm thick, the signs are lightweight yet durable, and are available in sizes 10x14” or 7x10”. The B-563 Plastic signs use 70 percent post-consumer waste and can hold up to industrial environments for three to five years. Finally, the B-558 Pressure Sensitive Signs are made from 20 percent pre-consumer waste and feature permanent adhesive backing.
