The new PS-C DIN rail power supplies from Altech (Flemington, NJ) has been engineered to deliver high power (up to 20 amps) in a compact package, up to 50 percent smaller compared with conventional versions, according to the company. These single-output units can provide an upfront power surge by boosting 50 percent more power in the first three seconds, followed by 100 percent of continuously rated power in service. Other features include:

  • Optimization for high efficiency (up to 94 percent), low power dissipation, and sustained reliability.
  • A built-in DC OK relay contact.
  • A 100 percent full load burn-in test.
  • Easily-mountable on DIN rails.
