Nylon 6/6 strips with adhesive backing from CS Hyde Company (Lake Villa, IL) eliminate cost, time, and the work of mechanical fastening, according to the company. The strips sold are available in widths of 4, 6, or 12 inches, in continuous footage up to 20 feet and thickness options include .031, .060, or .125 inches. Standard 3M acrylic adhesive is available with permanent 3M VHB® adhesives. Custom shapes (washers, discs, squares) are also available.
