Failsafe Lighting

Larson Electronics’ LXlite.com (Kemp, TX) has announced the addition of a Class 1 Division 2 emergency LED light designed to provide failsafe lighting operation in the event of power failures within hazardous locations. The Halp-emg-48-2l-led emergency LED light provides all the benefits and power of a normal explosion proof light combined with the safety and reliability of a built in battery backup system. Two T8 style LED tube lamps included with this fixture provide a total of 5,900 lumens of white light. These explosion proof LED lights are designed for resistance to wet and corrosive conditions with a polyester housing reinforced with glass fiber and a poured in gasket sealing an impact resistant acrylic diffuser.
