Dry Grinding SD-250 Attritor

Union Process, Inc. (Akron, OH) has built a large SD-250 for applications in the lithium battery industry. The dry grinding SD-250 Attritor features a 400 horsepower TEFC inverter duty motor with a heavy duty variable frequency drive controller. The SD-250 has a gross tank volume of 288 gallons, a material capacity of 125 gallons, and a media volume of 187 gallons. Batch Attritors are designed to allow material to be charged into the mill at the top, ground for a predetermined time, and discharged through the bottom.
