General Equipment Company (Owatonna, MN) has introduced the CTS 12 Rip-R-Stripper for floor-covering removal projects. The machine can remove ceramic tile, hardwood floors, and other tough floor coverings. The CTS12 acts as a tool carrier for electric-powered breakers with ratings between 30 and 40 foot-pounds of force. In addition, the unique configuration allows users to operate breakers in an upright position, which helps increase productivity. Other features include:

  • An adjustable handle that enhances operator comfort with a rubber-insulated to reduce vibration.
  • The ability to run the CTS 12 from a standard 115VAC, 15-amp power source.
  • The use of direct-impulse force, which supplies power to break through high bond strengths.
