Protect Your Ball Bearings

The DayLube high-performance grease from Dayton Progress Corporation (Dayton, OH) uses nanoceramic particles, which provide continuous lubrication to steel surfaces with a lower coefficient of friction at all temperatures than traditional PTFE greases. According to the company, the grease does not soften or run out — after 100,000 production strokes, it showed no evidence of breaking down. Other benefits include:

  • An operating temperature range of -40° to 800°F.
  • High load-bearing properties, a low dielectric constant, and resistance to steam, acids, and most chemical products.
  • The ability to survive a ASTME 4-ball weld test with no weld and minimal damage to all ball bearings.
