Improved Control Valves

Spirax Sarco, Inc. (Blythewood, SC) released its control valve range, SPIRA-TROL, in 6” and 8” sizes and with more control options. Thanks to a “clamp in seat” design, the valves are easy to maintain and do not require any special tooling, according to the company. In addition, a number of options have been added to ensure the valve can be optimized for the specific requirements of a customer application. The free-float design provides the user with longer stem seal life and better valve shut-off performance.
